The landscaping project developed for Ponta Negra Shopping proposes an intervention that integrates nature-based solutions with the cultural appreciation of the Amazon biome. Strategically located, the mall is conceived as a multifunctional space for socializing, leisure, dining, and culture for residents and visitors. The proposal transforms the outdoor areas into a park open for use by both the mall and the neighborhood, featuring living spaces, leisure areas, water features, and the creation of microhabitats. It also aims to highlight local knowledge, myths, and traditional references, strengthening the connection to Amazonian identity and utilizing vegetation predominantly composed of native species from the Amazon biome. Among the proposed environments, highlights include the green pathway, Igapó Park, wooden sculptures integrated into the landscape, wooden benches, pergola areas, and reflective pools.
