The landscape and ecological restoration project of the Cabo Frio Dunes is part of a context of reordering the surroundings of the São Mateus Fort, well listed by IPHAN. Our proposal seeks to convert a currently degraded area into a public square, while formalizing access to the beach and recovering the dune vegetation. This programmatic tripod will allow the appropriation of free areas in a coordinated manner, but also the recovery of the landscape that makes up the Canto do Forte.
