The Piratininga Waterfront Park project is part of the revitalization of the Piratininga Lagoon waterfront, aiming to enhance the experience of residents and visitors to Niterói's Oceanic Region and restore the balance of the lagoon system. Embyá developed the conceptual and detailed landscaping and urban planning designs for the project. During this process, 183,000 m² were redesigned, encompassing the waterfront promenade along the water's edge. The design included 17 leisure areas, 10 km of bike paths, green spaces, public pathways, tree planting, and signage. As key elements in shaping the landscape, wooden observation decks were also proposed along the waterfront, offering panoramic views of the entire area. Regarding vegetation, the project, based on ecological landscaping principles, included vegetation restoration, management, and biodiversity enhancement with native Atlantic Forest species.
