The Eleva School project in Recife was conceived based on childhood environmental education, exploring the pedagogical dimension of the landscape as a tool for ecological education and awareness. The proposal reinforces values related to care, respect, and understanding of nature's cycles through rain gardens, vegetable gardens, a composting system, and the use of native and edible species. The project explores play areas integrated with vegetation, encouraging children's interaction with the environment outside classrooms and common school areas.
